Established in 1980, the CVSS is a local chapter of the National Space Society. Meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of every month from September to May. The regular program usually features a speaker or special program developed by CVSS members. CVSS members were instrumental in persuading the Ohio Governor to declare Space Week, celebrated the third week in July, a state holiday. During Space Week, CVSS sets up a display in various sites in the area. Past displays have been at area malls,Sea World of Ohio and the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. Please join us if you are able.
