Many of the images used here have been imported from the web. There are many images that have been downloaded from NASA. Images from Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)
Images from the Indian Space Research Organisation (or other India government agencies) will appear at Astra's Stargate using the notation ©GODL-India. Such images are licensed for all shareable non-sensitive data available in digital or analog forms and generated using public funds by various agencies of the Government of India. All users are provided a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, adapt, publish (either in original, or in adapted and/or derivative forms), translate, display, add value, and create derivative works (including products and services), for all lawful commercial and non-commercial purposes, and for the duration of existence of such rights over the data or information.

Many images used at Astra's that are not in the public domain or copyrighted are used to represent various organizations. This is especially true of logos. Astra's Stargate is a privately-owned website and has no affliation to any of the entities whose logos may appear on the site. Some images that are taken using spacecraft by nationally-owned organizations. Because it is otherwise impossible to attain these images, they have been used on this site. The intent is always to represent such organization in a positive manner. These images will be posted using low resolution and do not indicate the approval of such entities. In no way is this intended to infringe on copyrights. Any organization that wants to protest this use, may contact Astra , the website owner. If there is a legitimate issue, the image(s) will be removed immediately.
Images in the Public Domain
Images that are found to be in the public domain may be edited or cropped for improved appearence on the pages at Astra's. If you wish to use any of these images you may do so.
