As the hours tick away before the April 8 eclipse, check the National Weather Service for updates on the weather. It looks dismal, but remember, you don't know if the clouds are really going to be over your head. Be prepared! You will find me in my backyard standing in the dark on Monday, April 8, during totality.

The Great Lakes Science Center and NASA Glenn Research Center are sponsoring an event at Cleveland Harbor right on Lake Erie.

2024 Total Solar Eclipse - Avon Lake, OH

The City of Avon Lake is right on the centerline, enjoying 3 minutes and 52 seconds of totality. Hotels are booked and tickets are needed. The city is also sponsoring a bus line through the city for ease of transportation.
